Cast Iron Finger Plate
Cast Iron Finger Plates to give your door a stylish finishing touch. Also known as door protection plates or push plates, these are usually fitted to frequently used doors to protect the paint work or timber. Finger plates became popular during the Victorian era and are commonly used on painted panelled doors to prevent dirty finger marks and wear.
This door plate is made form solid cast iron and has a smooth black powder coated finish. As with all cast iron ironmongery, this is not recommended for exterior use due to the ferrous nature of the metal.
