Dischidia oiantha variegata / ‘Variegated String of Nickels’
A beautiful, hanging houseplant. The Dischidia Oiantha showcases wonderful and unique leaves that are perfect for trailing down shelves or walls, this is a variegated species so the usual all green leaves also have a white/silvery tint to them. It’s native to the rainforests of Asia where it grows as an epiphyte, trailing over various trees. It’s relatively easy-going and will brighten up any space.
Pot size 14cm. Toxic to pets.
Watering
Water this plant from the bottom. It is pretty drought resistant but be sure to not let the soil dry out for too long. It also enjoys a misting.
Lighting
A shady spot with indirect light is best for this plant.

It grows slowly but can trail several feet over time. If needed, you can prune it to control its size or encourage bushier growth.
