Fishtail Door Bolts Black
Traditional Fishtail Door Bolts in black beeswax. These hand forged door bolts are available as cranked or straight bolts and offer additional security for your internal doors. They can also be used as a locking bolt for rooms requiring privacy or as a cupboard lock. The bolts have a leaf spring mechanism which allows it to be fitted in a vertical or horizontal position without dropping.
Note: Our Cranked Bolts only come with the receiver plate and NOT both receiver plate and receiver bridge.
Tip: Straight bolts are for fitting across levels which are flush. Cranked (necked) bolts are for off-set levels.
Please note: Beeswax is used as a natural protective layer and can be sticky to touch. Excess wax can be removed with a mild solvent and a soft cloth. Maintain your hand forged item with an occasional rub of beeswax.
