Fishtail Door Bolts Pewter offer period style for your home. The fishtail design dates back to before the industrial revolution. These traditional hand forged door bolts are Ideal for rooms needing privacy or also can be used on cupboards or as an alternative to a latch. Available as 4 inch and 6 inch sizes in cranked and straight styles. Co-ordinated with our range of Hand Forged pewter door furniture.
Note: Our Cranked Bolts only come with the receiver plate and NOT both receiver plate and receiver bridge.
Tip: The smaller bolt is ideal for cupboard doors and internal doors while the larger is best suited for the interior side of an external door or barn doors. Straight bolts are for fitting across levels which are flush. Cranked bolts are for off-set levels.
Not recommended for external use.
