From XL Joinery, a UK-based manufacturer, comes the Suffolk Fire Door, part of their Oak Internal Doors series. This door is crafted from oak sourced from sustainable forests.
The door features engineered construction and is overlaid with an A-Grade American White Oak veneer. It’s offered in either an unfinished state for those preferring a personalised finish, or a pre-finished variant for immediate installation.
Designed as an internal door, it’s fire-rated for 30 minutes for added safety. With a choice of 10 sizes, it’s suitable for a variety of spaces. The Suffolk Fire Door comes with a 10-year warranty as a testament to XL Joinery’s confidence in their product.
This door requires the installation of three, 4-inch butt hinges and can be trimmed up to a maximum of 2mm on each side. The door will also require light sanding on using 240g sandpaper to ensure a smooth finish after trimming. This will ensure that the door fits perfectly into the frame and opens and closes smoothly.
