Large Iron Rim Lock & Knob Sets
Our large iron rim lock & door knob sets are stunning feature locks for your internal doors. These traditional rim locks are made from solid cast iron and have a lacquered coating which shows off the individual casting marks. Perfect rustic style for your home. The inner mechanism and latch are crafted from solid brass and the rim lock comes complete with two antique style solid brass keys. Rim locks are the oldest type of door lock. These locks are designed to be fitted onto the surface of a door, rather than being morticed into the edge. Iron rim locks are ideal for period properties and rustic interiors.
This large iron rim lock is available as a rim lock only, and as a rim lock door knob set. The rim lock sets are supplied with a pair of door knobs and a matching escutcheon. Choose from a selection of cast iron, solid brass or wooden door knob designs. Why not complete the look with a matching Door Plate.
Please note: These rim locks are handed and you will need to choose the correct handing for your door. For doors that open inwards and are hinged on the left, you will need a left hand rim lock. Please see our HANDING GUIDE for help with choosing the correct rim lock for your door.
