Locking Wedge Casement Fastener
The locking wedge casement fastener is a classic design and suitable for standard timber windows. Sold singly with fittings, we offer a choice of six distinct finishes, providing something for every interior. Choose aged brass for a period look, or polished chrome for something more contemporary.
A wedge fastener is a particular style of window handle, including a fastener handle which is fitted to the window and a ‘wedge’ part that is fitted to the frame. In the closed position, the handle is pulled over the plate. This wedge pattern is designed to compress the window in its frame for an extra tight seal. Supplied with an Allen key, the fastener can be locked in place by operating a small grub screw.
