Monstera obliqua / ‘Oblique Peru’
A unique member of the Monstera family that is native to the rainforests of Peru. Unlike other Monsteras, this plant follows more of a compact growing pattern with thin, delicate leaves. With adequate care, this plant will reach it’s full potential with support from a moss pole.

In it’s native habitat, this plant will thrive on the rainforest floor. As an epiphyte, you would find it seeking support from neighbouring trees or thicker plants.
Watering
Dependent on home conditions, pot size and season.
Summer: For this pot size, ensure soil doesn’t remain dry for too long. Keep on top of this plant’s soil remaining moist (not soggy).
Winter: During the colder months, this plant can thrive with a drought and drench period – allow to dry out and then saturate with water.
Lighting
Bright indirect light is best for this plant. Filtered light is ideal, full sunlight will scorch the leaves and cause the soil to dry out often.
