Turn & Release locks are simple thumb turn locks and are designed to be fitted with a Deadbolt. They offer locking privacy from inside a room, usually a bathroom. The release plate, which is fitted on the outer side of the door, allows the lock to be opened in the event of an emergency. This is especially recommended if you have small children.
