Shepherds Crook Bolts Black
Shepherds Crook Bolts Black in straight and cranked styles. These hand forged door bolts are individually hand crafted on the anvil from high quality mild steel with a traditional black beeswax finish. The bolts are available in two sizes, the smaller 4 inch size often used as a bedroom, cupboard or bathroom door bolt. The 6 inch bolt is more suited to a large door needing a heavy bolt. Note: Our Cranked Bolts only come with the receiver plate and NOT both receiver plate and receiver bridge.
Tip: Straight bolts are for fitting on flush levels. The cranked (necked) option is designed for off-set levels.
Please note: Beeswax is used as a natural protective layer and can be sticky to touch. Excess wax can be removed with a mild solvent and a soft cloth. Maintain your hand forged item with an occasional rub of beeswax. See our helpful article How To Care For Hand Forged Ironmongery.
